Bonnie Greer
We were so very sad to hear about the passing of Prize Patron and long term Prize supporter, Bonnie Greer. Bonnie was one of the Prize’s very first Patrons and had been a supporter of the Prize since our inception in 2011. We particularly remember and value the fantastic conversation between Bonnie and Prize Ambassador Margaret Busby at the inaugural Prize awards at Ilkley Literature Festival in 2012. We send condolences to all who loved and worked with Bonnie, and want to express our huge gratitude for the wisdom, creativity, intellectual curiosity and light that she brought to the world – she will be very much missed.
