Celebrate 10 years of the SI Leeds Literary Prize with the launch of our anthology The Unheard Voices, published by Peepal Tree Press and edited by Prize alumna Saima Mir. This new collection of essays by women connected to the SI Leeds Literary Prize is about the lives they have lived, their experiences, and all the little things they’ve wanted to write about but have had trouble getting commissioned because of narrow expectations in publishing. A celebration of the prize, this book explores how far we have come and the journey ahead.
The event will be held on Wednesday 15 November at 7pm at the University of Leeds, Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall Foyer and tickets are free but need to be booked here. Do join us!
