How to enter

Wondering how to enter the 2018 SI Leeds Literary Prize?

The Prize was open for entries from 1 January – 30 April 2018 and we are accepting no more entries now.  Entries are currently being read, so please check back for the announcement of the longlist, which will be made in July.

As in previous years, we asked entrants to submit their full manuscripts electronically through the Submittable site, together with a 500 word synopsis,  and there is a £10 fee for each entry.  Submissions could be in .doc, .docx, .pdf and .rtf formats and all submissions are judged anonymously, so we asked you to leave your name off your manuscript, please.

The SI Leeds Literary Prize is open to Black and Asian women writers aged 18 or over, based in the UK and writing fiction in English.  For more information on eligibility, please check the eligibility section or read the full prize rules here.

If you have any further queries about the prize, please contact us.
