Wondering how to enter the SI Leeds Literary Prize?
Entries for the 8th biennial SI Leeds Literary Prize will open from 27 April – 25 May 2026. You can submit your entry using this Submittable link during the submission period:
We ask entrants to submit their full manuscripts electronically through the Submittable site, together with a 500 word synopsis, and there is a £10 fee for each entry. We have a number of free entry bursaries for writers on low income. Please contact us for more details before the closing deadline. Submissions can be in .doc, .docx, .pdf and .rtf formats and all submissions are judged anonymously, so we ask you to leave your name off your manuscript, please.
The SI Leeds Literary Prize is open to Black and Asian women writers aged 18 or over, based in the UK and writing fiction in English. For more information on eligibility, please check the eligibility section or read the full prize rules here.
